1. The epitome of creativity: Luxurious interiors from Design Inc

This elegant Chennai home from Khushboo and Kunal Khandelwal of Design Inc is filled with immense creative inspiration. The design brief demanded a convenient, luxurious home with enough privacy for a four-generation family to live.

Like other joint family homes, this presents a personalised and customised approach with different spaces planned according to the lifestyle of the occupant. Still, the overall design scheme has to blend elegantly without creating odd nooks and spaces in the scheme.

The residence is a magnificent and strategically customised abode for the family without compromising on the artistic taste.

The home is on the 14th floor and therefore presents a beautiful view. The large windows accentuate the appeal of the design with a lush view of the ocean and the city. The indoor green elements offer a warm and inviting aura that never goes out of style!

2. YellowSub Studio’s elegant celebration of black and white

This 2500 sq feet apartment is one of the most elegant Chennai home designs. The innovative idea of using contrasting monochrome interiors was one of the key demands from the client. Naturally, this was easier said than done.

Working with a limited colour palette, the designers at YellowSub Studio put their creativity to the test. This was one of the few experiences where they could experiment with textures and materials, which are generally overshadowed by colours. The greyscale interiors present subtle complimentary use of wooden tones to bring in warmth and luxury.

The art decor in the house is carefully picked to introduce a hint of intrigue and personality.

3. Relaxed interiors from Souk & Kharche and Associates

The home is 300 metres from the ocean and conveniently located 20kms from the city centre.

The design draft from the family of four (a couple and their two dogs) demanded a simple, basic and beachy home. The two-bedroom house, in the end, turned out to be an elegant place for introspection and a chic ambience for social get-togethers!
