This private surat home away from the chaotic urban life has a stunning natural appeal. The 4500 sq ft property features a calm and quiet intrusion of Tapti. The water and the sunshine create an exciting display and accentuate the appeal throughout the day.

Saini focused on creating this house for his friend Samir Mehta, a businessman from Mumbai. The place had to be something more than a place to live in. It is meant to be an experience that stays with your soul. Mehta wanted a family home for his parents and children.

Ankit Sojitra and Mayur Mangukiya of Studio 17 were up for a big challenge. Building uniquely modern constructions characteristic of urban residential complex almost always take a lot of innovation.

The client is a successful diamond manufacturer in the city and wanted this 2519 sq ft, four-bedroom Gokuldham home to carry a sweet reflection of the past with a contemporary and relevant setting. As a result, the modern and minimalistic accents in this home have elegant modernity. However, it doesn’t end there.

The addition of a terracotta wall on the west facade creates utility and aesthetics in the design. Additionally, the green spaces and ample light set the tone for different areas.

The living room carries a characteristic clean and clutter-free, somewhat minimalistic design. Moreover, the floor-to-ceiling windows bring in the sweet mix of outdoors and indoors giving rise to comfortable and joyful interiors.

In the end, the project completed as a successful design rooted in subtle luxurious tastes while taking care not to leave comfort out of the plan.

The Nook House is an eclectic, fun apartment in Surat. This apartment sprawling over the area of over 1210 sq ft, came to existence through the innovative ideas of lead architects Mayank Parekh, Dhaval Shah and Kaushal Laheri from ADDA Architects. Undertaking the home design responsibilities,  Rithul Suthur, Bhavin Patel and Shivani Tailor worked for a modern and functional house for a family of three. Additionally, the team took care to not let the budget exceed the reasonable limits.

The design features the use of linearity as the foundation. The lines create elegant separate spaces by their unique character and fit together effortlessly as a whole. The main idea underlying the design was to bring together different areas in the house by exploiting the linearity in the scheme.

The fun expression of bright pops of colour appears intermittently all over the design. Shades of red, green, yellow, blue and orange show up in unexpected places like in furniture, upholstery, wall murals, panelling and decor accents. These eclectic displays create synchronicity between various spaces and bring the whole area together, creating a warm and inviting ambience!
