Noida is an emerging, rapidly developing hotspot for architecture and design inspiration. With cosy cottages, lush farmhouses and humongous residential complexes, this small part of the state of Uttar Pradesh is definitely the real “Sapnon ka Pradesh”. This post presents two beautiful, artistic Noida homes that will immensely help you in your future design endeavours!

The Studio Wood has established a reputation for building creative designs since its inception in 2014. The brains behind the studio, Sahej Bhatia, Navya Aggarwal and Vrinda Mathur were approached by a family of four to design the interiors of this spacious apartment.

Without affecting the original layout much, the design brief called for space and utility with minimal and functional aesthetics.

The common areas of the flat are embraced by an open floor plan that ensures a spatial and visual connection across all the nooks and corners. The use of understated yet expressive materials and finishes bring a sweet texture of emotion in the minimalist aesthetics. A standard base palette adorns the furniture and decor in each room.

Once the artworks were carefully curated to go with the overall artistic theme of the apartment, the results were valuable. A warm, inviting abode with a strong infusion of lush artworks is what defines this beautiful Noida home.

This vivid home in Noida showcases the true potential of creativity. The house is one of the most artistic and colourful Noida homes we could get our eyes on!

Home to the famous Mandeep Nagi and David Housego, the owners of Shades of India, the design scheme features an eclectic display of colours and interior decor. The couple lives with their young daughter, Meher. The spaces seem to interact, breathe and carry intense personality. The excellent taste of the owners is impossible to miss.

Right at the entrance, the wall is adorned with wooden masks reflecting the couple’s admiration for art and craft. Inside, the beautiful selection of wood and textiles showcases the couple’s interior decor and design skills in action.

The numerous textiles and artworks in the Noida home are carefully collected by the owners while travelling across the world.  This beautiful selection of decor adds their personality to the design scheme. Talking about the design with the Architectural Digest, Nagi remarks that the house is far from the typical clichéd “granite and hidden camera residence”. The house is infused with personality and character that leaves the visitors in awe!

Ever had the feeling that your home doesn’t feel like yours? You might have had this feeling after a recent renovation or after a casual decluttering session before the holiday season.

Interior designers and decorators face this challenge almost every day. Infusing personality and character to a design scheme with appropriate interior decor takes a lot of discussion and consideration before you get to work. More often than not, even the most experienced designers overlook the details in the design brief and skip this important step.

Whether you are crafting your own home interiors, or doing it for a client, studying the inhabitants’ lifestyle and personalising the design scheme is of utmost importance. This is what distinguishes an elegant, warm and inviting abode from the mundane residential complexes.

What separates these beautiful Noida homes from an overwhelming majority of design schemes is a knack for good design and the sweet infusion of personality!
